Data Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Spearhead the advancement of our Data Management platform, based on Ab Initio, to optimize efficiency.
• Facilitate key business processes, including Data Cataloging, Data Quality profiling, Lineage tracking, and Data Governance.
• Drive the automation of platform deployment and establish automated workflows for streamlined metadata management.
• Collaborate to connect metadata across diverse systems, ensuring accessibility for various users.
• Harness the platform’s capabilities, encompassing lineage analysis, data profiling, and Data Quality assessment.

What You Bring:

• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Extensive DevOps experience, including installation, configuration, CI/CD implementation, and scripting for automation.
• Competency in YAML and Ansible for efficient infrastructure management.
• Experience with Java and/or C# programming languages.
• Skill in onboarding source systems using database connectors.
• Knowledge of TypeScript for scripting purposes.
• Broad IT acumen, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of data landscapes with diverse sources such as Data lakes and Databases, along with IT Security principles.
• Technical proficiency in creating lineage documentation and ensuring Data Quality.
• Exceptional teamwork and relationship-building skills, enabling effective communication within the organization and with colleagues.
• Innate innovation and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach and a focus on possibilities.
• Proficiency in English, as English-speaking consultants are encouraged to apply for this assignment..
