Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team

What You Will Work On:

  • Manage and define hardware requirements for all electrical components within the cabin of heavy vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics engineers, designers, and project managers, to review and optimize hardware designs.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of electronic components, focusing on functionality, reliability, and adherence to specified requirements.
  • Create and implement test methods for proof of concept, ensuring robust testing protocols for various automotive components.
  • Provide technical support to overseas Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and collaborate on electronics hardware design reviews.
  • Lead team discussions and collaborate with global partners to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Address manufacturing and field issues promptly, implementing corrective measures to avoid production line stoppage.
  • Utilize expertise in Altium Designer, PCB design tool, and other relevant tools for hardware design and testing.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of combined experience in hardware design, development, and testing, with exposure to automotive electronics.
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer, Allegro PCB, Cadence – Design Entry HDL, and other relevant design and testing tools.
  • Experience in managing hardware requirements for heavy vehicle cabins.
  • Strong understanding of environmental testing, electrostatic discharge (ESD), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements in the automotive industry.
  • Excellent team management and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of leading successful cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
