Java System Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Java System Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Collaborate with a team of developers to create various deliverables related to the extended arrival management service development framework.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the framework designed for service development.

What You Bring:

Required Competence:

• Over 5 years of substantial experience in system development.
• Swedish citizenship.
• Proficiency in GitOps methodologies and practices.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Expertise in Git version control.
• Familiarity with Pipeline systems for software deployment.
• Proficiency in Shellscript programming.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Background in programming, beyond Shell scripts.
• More than a basic understanding of networks, including DNS and firewalls.
• Knowledge and experience in Helm and Kustomize for Kubernetes.
• Senior-level Java programming skills.

Wanted Competence:

• Experience with OpenShift.
• Proficiency in configuring and operating software for logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting, with an emphasis on contributing to a larger system.
• Troubleshooting experience for software-related issues.
• Familiarity with RedHat applications such as RedHat AMQ Broker/Interconnect and 3Scale.
• Experience with ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
