Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Category Buyer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Drive and execute the category strategy for machined parts within a global sourcing organization.
Analyze sourcing data to identify opportunities for cost optimization, risk reduction and supplier performance improvements.
Build, qualify and maintain a competitive and sustainable supplier base across global markets.
Lead supplier reviews and negotiations to secure performance in quality, delivery, cost, sustainability and technology.
Manage contracts and long-term agreements while ensuring capacity and competitiveness.
Mitigate supply risks by monitoring market conditions and implementing proactive risk-reduction measures.
Support engineering changes, new product introductions and supplier transitions with structured sourcing activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across quality, engineering, logistics and operations.
Drive continuous improvements and contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.
Foster strong supplier relationships built on transparency, trust and long-term value creation.
