Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Build, maintain and optimize modern data platforms for collecting, storing and processing large and complex datasets
- Develop and enhance ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure high data quality, strong reliability and efficient data delivery
- Design and refine data models for analytics and reporting, using best-practice approaches in DataVault and dimensional modeling
- Ensure that data is accurate, secure and accessible for analysts, stakeholders and decision-makers
- Drive best practices in data modeling, documentation, coding standards and platform architecture
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, source system owners and data/information architects
- Translate business needs into data solutions that enable insights and support decision-making
What you bring:
- Strong skills in SQL
- Solid experience with DataVault and dimensional data modeling
- Experience with GCP and BigQuery (or similar cloud data platforms)
- Proficiency with GitHub (or similar version control tools)
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
Meritorious:
- Experience with dbt
- Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
