Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Sub Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead and manage sub-project members, suppliers, and contractors within the electrical power scope
- Investigate and develop technical solutions based on customer needs, ideas, and requirements, following directives from the Project Owner
- Ensure technical solutions comply with company standards (ATB) and other requirements
- Prepare technical specifications, manage requests for proposals, and support evaluation and procurement in collaboration with the Project Owner, Steering Group, and Purchasing
- Develop and manage budgets, time schedules, and resource plans for assigned sub-projects
- Identify and manage project and EHS risks
- Report progress to the responsible investment project manager
- Ensure effective coordination and communication internally and externally
- Manage safety and EHS issues within the sub-project
- Lead and participate in commissioning activities, ensuring technical solutions are clearly described and implemented by suppliers
What you bring:
- Civil or university degree in electrical power, or equivalent work experience
- 7–10 years of experience in electrical power, with a strong background beyond project management or engineering roles alone
- Solid knowledge of process design in electrical power systems and high-voltage domains (switchgear, power supply, low/medium voltage, transformers, UPS/backup power, converters, busbar bridges, cables, etc.)—experience from the heating or process industry is an advantage
- Strong ability to define and communicate technical solutions for suppliers and commissioning teams
- Good knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Valid B driver’s license
