Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Asset Manager to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and maintain Software Asset Management (SAM) policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure license compliance and establish effective governance across the organization.
- Monitor and report on license usage using KPIs and automated tools.
- Optimize licensing costs and ensure strategic alignment with software agreements.
- Deliver Effective License Positions (ELPs) for major software vendors.
- Identify and report software risks, including cost exposure, audits, non-compliance, or end-of-life issues.
- Support procurement teams in software sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
- Coordinate and prepare for software license audits.
- Manage outsourced SAM operations and administration of SAM tools (e.g., Snow).
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Security, Sourcing, Service Delivery, and technical teams to ensure alignment and risk mitigation.
- Act as a key advisor in balancing business, legal, and technical considerations for IT applications and infrastructure.
What you bring:
- Several years of hands-on experience in Software Asset Management.
- Proficiency with SAM tools, preferably Snow.
- Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks and Agile / DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working in complex, multi-vendor environments, including outsourced or offshore teams.
- Strong ability to integrate business, legal, and technical perspectives in decision-making.
- Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
