Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mainframe COBOL Support Consultant to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Provide senior-level support to a stable team.
  • Consult on “as is” Mainframe solutions running COBOL applications.
  • Analyze problem descriptions and recommend actions and solutions based on deep system knowledge.
  • Offer guidance on finance, logistics, and order management applications.
  • Deliver support via phone or Teams, approximately 2–4 hours per week.
  • Prepare and provide responses to inquiries with flexibility for planning and scheduling.

What you bring:

  • Extensive experience with Mainframe COBOL applications.
  • Strong understanding of finance, logistics, and order systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and consultation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Flexibility and strong organizational skills for remote support and planning.
