Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with Scrum Master Experience to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on
- Act as the key quality gate for Developer Portal, ensuring a secure, bug-free, and user-friendly experience for external and internal developer communities
- Design, implement, and execute automated test strategies for web and web-based components using modern frameworks and tools such as Jest and Cypress
- Analyze functionality, usability, and performance of the Developer Portal through structured testing, defect identification, and root cause analysis
- Monitor emerging cybersecurity vulnerabilities, contributing to continuous improvement in product reliability and resilience
- Collaborate closely with Developers, UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts to enhance product quality and user satisfaction
- Produce, maintain, and improve test documentation and automation coverage to support release readiness and continuous delivery
- Drive the evolution of testing processes, tools, and practices to increase automation, efficiency, and scalability
- Serve as Scrum Master for the team, facilitating Agile ceremonies, promoting team collaboration, and continuously improving team ways of working
What you bring
- 5–10 years of experience in software development or web application testing, including a minimum of 3 years focused on automated testing
- Practical hands-on experience with web automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Protractor, or Puppeteer
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript for test automation and scripting
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining automated test frameworks
- ISTQB certification or equivalent credentials in software testing
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and quality assurance
- Experience working in Agile development environments with CI/CD practices
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience from global, complex organizations is considered a strong advantage
- Familiarity with web and application development frameworks is beneficial
- Eligibility to work in Sweden (valid work permit if not EU citizen)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- A proactive mindset with a passion for quality, automation, and continuous improvement
