Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cobol Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Maintain and enhance mainframe applications within commission and payment domains
  • Develop new features and improve existing system functionality
  • Perform analysis, troubleshooting and debugging of application issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Ensure system stability, performance and compliance with business requirements
  • Participate in technical design, code reviews and documentation

What you bring:

  • Strong hands-on experience in COBOL development
  • Solid understanding of mainframe environments (IBM z/OS or similar)
  • Experience with JCL, DB2, CICS or similar technologies
  • Background in financial systems, preferably within commission or payment processing
  • Ability to manage both maintenance and new development tasks
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Fluent in English and Swedish (spoken and written)
