Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior HIL/VIL Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Maintain and operate VIL rigs with Vector systems.
- Perform software downloads, diagnostics, and gateway testing (Basetech).
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis at complete vehicle level.
- Perform log analysis using CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing accuracy and system reliability.
- Manage software updates and ensure correct configuration of test environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
What you bring:
- Practical experience in Basetech testing, including SWDL, diagnostics, and gateway validation.
- Strong skills in log analysis using CANoe, Wireshark, and DLT.
- Proven hands-on troubleshooting experience in vehicle environments.
- Proficiency with Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
- Deep understanding of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet communication protocols.
- Experience with OSB, Cynosure, and Confighub systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
- Valid Swedish B driving license.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
- Meritorious experience in continuous integration (CI), baseline and binary management, and test automation.
- Positive, forward-looking attitude with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
