Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design technical solutions in mechanical engineering according to defined prerequisites such as function, style, geometry, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support mechanical design engineering activities, ensuring technical excellence and on-time delivery.
- Integrate and review design deliveries from others, securing quality and readiness prior to release.
- Ensure designs align with business targets, performance expectations, and system requirements.
- Contribute to product and system roadmaps by providing expert technical input and strategic insights.
- Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and external partners to advance innovation and technology development.
- Drive business development and innovation initiatives within the mechanical design domain.
- Build and manage strong networks across the organization to share expertise and influence technical direction.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
What you bring:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering design within automotive or related industries.
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and deliver high-quality design solutions.
- Deep technical expertise complemented by broad engineering knowledge (T-shaped profile).
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across multidisciplinary teams and organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to business value beyond immediate project scope.
- Ability to act as a role model in innovation, technical coaching, and lifelong learning.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
