Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Lead to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead a strategic initiative to establish a robust and sustainable foundation for Data Governance within the organization.
- Drive the development of data-driven KPIs that enable insight-based decision-making across various business areas.
- Map and structure the organization’s data domains and clarify the connections between data ownership and system architecture.
- Identify gaps in current system support and propose improvements to strengthen data quality and accessibility.
- Build a solid data foundation to enable future initiatives in advanced analytics and AI.
- Collaborate with business units, IT, and management to ensure a shared understanding and alignment of Data Governance principles.
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of documented experience in data and analytics (e.g., as a BI Consultant, Data Architect, or similar role).
- Solid experience leading data-driven projects and developing KPIs for business value.
- Strong knowledge of Data Governance concepts such as data ownership, metadata, and data quality.
- Experience in building information models or data catalogs is an advantage.
- Good understanding of IT architecture, data platforms, and modern data storage solutions (e.g., data lakes).
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience from the real estate or other asset-intensive industries is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills – able to lead workshops, gather input from stakeholders, and present conclusions clearly and effectively.
- Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.
- Self-driven, structured, and business-oriented, with the ability to focus on what creates the most value for the organization.
