Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer – Verification & Validation to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Plan, execute, and document verification and validation activities in accordance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Perform testing across multiple levels, from individual components to complete systems, in both HIL/VIL environments and real vehicles.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality, functionality, and performance requirements are met.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of test methods and product quality.
- Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results in compliance with ASPICE and customer standards.
- Support the integration of new tools and methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.
What you bring:
- Extensive experience as a senior software test engineer within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge in both component-level and system-level validation.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent expertise in software test strategies, planning, and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of ASPICE processes and their application in automotive testing environments.
- Previous hands-on experience working within VCC test and validation frameworks.
- Valid Swedish driver’s license (B).
- Proficiency in using key testing tools, including:
- CAN tools: CANoe, CANalyzer
- Test development: vTestStudio
- Requirement and traceability: SystemWeaver
- Documentation and issue tracking: JIRA, Confluence
- Product data management: TCe (Teamcenter)
- Calibration and measurement: ETAS INCA
- Debugging and trace analysis: Lauterbach
- Vehicle communication and diagnostics: Carcom
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and advisory abilities, fostering effective teamwork across functions
