Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Chassis and Cab Development to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Design and develop chassis and cab components within Ford’s product development environment.
Work with PDM systems such as Enovia, OAS, and FRAS to manage and document design data.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Support development reviews, design updates, and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with design standards, manufacturing feasibility, and quality requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the chassis and cab development process.

What you bring:

Proven experience in chassis and cab design, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong proficiency with PDM systems such as Enovia, OAS, and FRAS.
Solid understanding of product development processes and design documentation workflows.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple design tasks.
Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
