Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Develop and enhance Android Auto integration for a global consumer-facing service used by millions of drivers worldwide.
  • Work with the Car App Library (CAL) to design and deliver new in-car features and improve the overall user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Google and other partners to align on technical requirements and ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Contribute to projected in-car experiences across platforms, including Android Auto and CarPlay.
  • Be part of a distributed, cross-functional team focused on delivering reliable, intuitive and safe user experiences in the vehicle environment.

What you bring:

  • Solid experience with Kotlin and modern Android application architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Android development best practices, performance, and scalable app design.
  • Experience from the automotive industry or iOS development (CarPlay) is considered a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
