Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Developer / Architect – Card Issuance & Payment Platforms to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Take senior responsibility for developing and modernizing a high-security card issuance platform within the fuel and service sector.
- Lead architectural decisions and guide best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Design, develop, and oversee backend services and integrations with payment partners, PSPs, and banks.
- Drive migration and integration activities with external partners while ensuring adherence to regulations such as PCI DSS.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, internal teams, and external stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, support, and mentoring to development teams.
- Ensure that all design, implementation, and documentation meet regulatory, security, and quality standards.
What you bring:
- Extensive experience in card issuance, including lifecycle management, PIN handling, EMV, personalization, and HSM usage.
- Strong understanding of the complete payment ecosystem from acquiring to clearing and settlement.
- Proven background as a Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or Senior Developer in complex environments.
- Solid experience in backend development with Python, Java, or similar technologies, including Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, databases, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud platforms, and IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong Linux skills and a basic understanding of frontend technologies such as React and JavaScript.
- Deep knowledge of security, encryption, and relevant compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with both technical and operational stakeholders.
- A self-driven and solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, complex environments and provide supportive technical leadership
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
