Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Build, maintain, and optimize data platforms for collecting, storing, and processing large and complex data sets
- Design and implement data models and transformations to support analytics, reporting, and business insights
- Develop, manage, and improve ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure high data quality, reliability, and availability
- Ensure robust data quality, governance, and security across all data flows and components
- Make data accessible and usable for analysts, data consumers, and decision makers
- Drive best practices in data modeling, documentation, coding standards, and development workflows
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Work with development teams, source system owners, data engineers, and data architects to secure end-to-end data integration
- Support continuous improvement and scalability of the data platform and related processes
What you bring:
- Strong experience with SQL, Data Vault modeling, and dimensional modeling
- Hands-on experience with GCP, BigQuery (or similar cloud data warehouses), and GitHub (or similar version control tools)
- Advantageous experience with DBT and Terraform (or similar infrastructure-as-code tools)
- Experience with Looker or other BI/analytics tools is a plus
- Beneficial experience with Python for data processing and automation
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality, structure, and scalability
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
