Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, build, and manage a secure, scalable, multi-cluster cloud platform in Azure, with a strong focus on AKS.
• Develop and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform following best practices, including modules, workspaces, state management, and CI integration.
• Operate and optimize AKS clusters for both stateless and stateful workloads, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement secure network policies and micro-segmentation using Cilium and eBPF.
• Establish and manage GitOps deployment flows using Argo CD, including installation, configuration, and operational upkeep in AKS.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and platform automation to support efficient delivery and operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve platform stability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development, security, and platform teams to define and promote common standards, patterns, and automation practices.
• Contribute to documentation, runbooks, onboarding materials, and support knowledge sharing among junior engineers.

What you bring:

• 6–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Azure, including AKS, VNets, Load Balancers, Managed Identities, Azure AD, Storage, and Networking.
• Solid proficiency in Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure resources, including experience with modules, workspaces/state backends, and CI-driven deployments.
• Experience installing, configuring, and operating Argo CD in AKS, and implementing GitOps-based application delivery flows.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts including Deployments, StatefulSets, Services/Ingress, Helm, and CRDs.
• Practical experience working with Cilium and eBPF for cluster networking and micro-segmentation.
• Proven experience operating and troubleshooting multi-cluster Kubernetes environments with diverse workloads and namespaces.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, monitor, and optimize cloud costs through efficient architecture and resource utilization.
• Good scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages, and experience with CI tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Strong foundation in security principles for cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Meritorious experience including Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications; policy-as-code tooling; and Terraform Enterprise/Cloud in production environments
