Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Jira & Confluence Expert to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Drive the strategic direction and long-term roadmap for Jira and Confluence.
- Ensure the platforms support business goals and follow established principles, standards and governance models.
- Capture, analyze and translate organizational needs into concrete solutions and development initiatives.
- Lead prioritization of enhancements, plugins, integrations and platform improvements.
- Conduct inventories of current processes and working methods and propose improvements.
- Manage operational administration, configuration, optimization and user support.
- Coordinate with IT operations and external vendors regarding maintenance, upgrades and incident handling.
- Lead development work and ensure structures, templates and best practices are implemented and followed.
- Act as the central point of contact between business teams, IT and third parties.
- Hold workshops, training sessions and knowledge-sharing forums to strengthen adoption and platform maturity.
- Monitor budgets and prepare decision documentation for investments, licenses and integrations.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements across processes and usage patterns.
- Evaluate when plugins or functionalities should be modernized, replaced or discontinued.
- Plan and execute migrations, consolidations and lifecycle management for the platforms and associated workflows.
What you bring:
- Deep expertise in Jira, Confluence and the Atlassian ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of governance models, configuration management and platform lifecycle management.
- Proven experience translating business needs into platform solutions and improvements.
- Ability to lead development activities and drive cross-organizational initiatives.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability across business and IT.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, IT operations and external partners.
- Structured, analytical and proactive mindset with focus on long-term sustainability and value creation.
- Experience planning and executing migrations, consolidations and system modernization initiatives
- Fluency in both Swedish and English
