Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design, build and optimize data pipelines and data platforms to support analytics, reporting and business insights
- Develop scalable data solutions using SQL, Python and modern cloud technologies
- Implement and maintain data warehouse structures and data models to ensure reliability, performance and accessibility
- Work with Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory to orchestrate, transform and integrate data from various sources
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Ensure high data quality by applying best practices within validation, monitoring and governance processes
- Contribute to continuous improvements in data engineering workflows, architecture and automation
What you bring:
- Strong cloud expertise with hands-on experience in data engineering environments
- Solid skills in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation
- Proven experience in data warehouse development and modern data architecture
- Practical experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory
- Knowledge of Snowflake and experience working in SAFe environments
- Background from insurance, banking or other financial sectors is highly meritorious
- A pragmatic, structured and stress-resistant way of working, even in complex situations
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate in environments where creativity, ownership and problem-solving are central
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
