Job Description

Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Component owner for Air & Gas system to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

  • Act as global component owner for EGR pipes within the Air & Gas system
  • Lead a defined technical area with responsibility for mechanical design engineering
  • Drive and coordinate design activities within a technical team
  • Ensure a holistic view of deliverables from multiple interfaces to secure quality and readiness prior to release
  • Lead knowledge sharing and competence development within the team
  • Build and maintain strong networks across the organization
  • Provide input to project prerequisites based on component history and previous learnings

What you bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and component development
  • Strong experience in mechanical design, material selection, and welding specifications
  • Experience in defining, evaluating, and interpreting simulation results
  • Solid knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Hands-on experience with CREO and KOLA
  • Background in product and machine design within an automotive or similar industrial environment
