Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Contribute as a senior Automation Engineer in the development and delivery of advanced industrial automation products and systems
- Support two new, strategic projects for both new customers and next-generation product platforms
- Design, develop, program, and test industrial control systems with a strong focus on PLC-based automation
- Work extensively with Siemens PLC platforms, including programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate in cross-functional project teams within product development and engineering environments
- Participate in development activities spanning concept, design, implementation, testing, and delivery
- Support automation solutions used in industrial environments related to heat transfer, separation, and flow management
- Apply best practices in automation engineering to ensure quality, reliability, and performance
- Contribute to documentation, version handling, and structured development processes
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet technical, operational, and customer requirements
What you bring:
- Senior-level experience as an Automation Engineer within industrial automation
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, particularly Siemens platforms
- Experience with Rockwell / Allen Bradley systems is highly valued
- Solid background working with industrial control systems
- Experience from R&D organizations is an advantage
- Knowledge of revision and configuration management processes is a merit
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles in industrial automation environments is a plus
- Experience working in GMP-regulated environments is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in project-driven environments
- Clear communication skills and a professional consulting mindset
