Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to support and modernize legacy order and logistics systems as part of an ongoing digital transformation journey

What you will work on:

Manage, maintain, and optimize mainframe systems to ensure stability and performance
Develop and support legacy mainframe applications used in order and logistics domains
Contribute to modernization initiatives integrating mainframe systems with modern IT platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and influence solution design
Analyze application performance and drive improvements and optimizations
Ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and contribute to mainframe best practices within the team

What you bring:

Strong experience working with mainframe technologies and legacy systems
Proficiency in one or more mainframe languages/tools such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, VSAM, PL/I, or Assembler
Experience in maintaining and modernizing legacy mainframe environments
Solid understanding of mainframe databases and data management systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
