Assignment Description

We are looking for an Embedded Systems Developer

What You Will Work On

  • Develop and maintain firmware for PIC microcontroller-based systems
  • Implement real-time functionality (I/O, timers, interrupts)
  • Work with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I²C, RS-485
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers on new feature design
  • Troubleshoot and debug system-level issues in lab and field
  • Document firmware, maintain code quality, and perform code reviews
  • Contribute to the full embedded software development lifecycle

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in embedded development using C
  • Practical experience with PIC microcontrollers
  • Strong understanding of bare-metal real-time systems
  • Hands-on experience with low-level hardware programming (GPIO, timers, interrupts)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Ability to read and interpret datasheets and technical documentation
  • Good communication skills in Swedish or English
