Job Description

Assignment Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a focus on Data Catalog

What You Will Work On

  • Onboard metadata from source systems into a central data catalog
  • Connect databases, reporting tools, pipelines, and APIs to the catalog
  • Ensure tables, columns, reports, and APIs are correctly documented
  • Build and enhance data lineage from source to consumption
  • Support implementation and exposure of data quality rules
  • Automate metadata flows and integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop scripts and tools to support metadata and governance automation
  • Collaborate with data stewards to link technical objects to business concepts

What You Bring

  • A few years of experience as a Data Engineer, BI Developer, or similar
  • Strong SQL skills and preferably experience with Python or another scripting language
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD)
  • Strong interest in metadata, structure, and data traceability
  • Fluent in Swedish and English
