Assignment Overview
We are looking for an experienced System Architect
What You Will Work On
- Define and develop system and software architectures for embedded vehicle systems.
- Design architectures for control units, communication interfaces, and distributed vehicle functions.
- Perform architectural analysis, design documentation, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure interface consistency, modular design, and long-term maintainability.
- Support development teams with architectural guidance and technical decision-making.
- Review design, implementation, and integration results.
- Collaborate closely with system engineers, developers, and platform architects.
- Align solutions with adjacent architectural domains and vehicle-level strategies.
- Contribute to development activities in an agile/Scrum environment.
What You Bring
- Solid experience working as a system architect or senior embedded software developer.
- Strong understanding of real-time systems, distributed architectures, and embedded platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of C++ or similar programming languages used in embedded environments.
- Ability to structure complex technical systems and drive architecture decisions.
- Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in English; Swedish is considered an advantage.
- Experience within the automotive industry, preferably heavy vehicles or bus applications.
- Knowledge of automotive technologies and standards such as ISO 26262 and communication protocols like CAN, LIN, or J1939.
- Experience with model-based development, CI/CD pipelines, and embedded testing frameworks is beneficial.
- Documented previous experience working with the client within embedded systems, software development, or architecture is mandatory.
