  • Provide guidance on protective devices (fuses, breakers, relays), grounding, isolation, emergency stops, and safe power-down procedures
  • Support R&D projects early to minimize late design modifications
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for robotics R&D, system engineering, test labs, production, HSE, and quality teams
  • Interface with certification bodies (e.g., UL, TÜV, notified bodies) and suppliers

What You Bring

  • Solid experience with electrical systems in industrial machinery or robotics
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards (IEC, EN, UL, NFPA)
  • Ability to read and review electrical schematics and technical documentation
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering and safety stakeholders
  • Experience with robot cells, industrial robots, or automated systems is highly meritorious
  • Experience supporting certification or conformity assessments is an advantage
  • Knowledge of arc flash risk and electrical PPE selection
  • Background in R&D or product development
  • Experience working in global or multi-market environments
  • Strong analytical and risk-based mindset
  • Clear, pragmatic communication; able to explain safety concepts to non-experts
  • Comfortable acting as a technical authority without impeding progress
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and documentation-focused
  • Fluent in English; Swedish or additional languages are a plus
