Assignment Description
We are looking for a Principal Platform Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Build, evolve, and operate data platforms on AWS and Databricks
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for analytics and AI use cases
- Enable efficient data processing, cleaning, and structuring
- Support advanced analytics, dashboards, and ML models in production
- Improve data acquisition, testing, and platform automation
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Enhance developer experience through tooling and automation
- Implement infrastructure as code (Terraform) for platform management
- Work in DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions
- Contribute to technology roadmap and platform strategy
- Support operational excellence and reduce repetitive tasks through scripting
What You Bring
- 12+ years of experience in platform engineering or data engineering
- Strong experience building and operating data platforms in cloud environments
- Deep expertise in Databricks (workspace, clusters, jobs, governance)
- Solid experience with AWS services and cloud architecture
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and data engineering tools
- Strong understanding of data pipelines and data processing workflows
- Experience working in cross-functional, data-driven environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
