Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior COBOL Developer for an assignment

What You Will Work On

  • Develop and maintain applications in COBOL on IBM z/OS platforms
  • Analyze, implement, and manage system changes and enhancements
  • Troubleshoot and optimize code, batch processes, and system performance
  • Work with CICS and JCL in daily development activities
  • Collaborate with business teams and technical stakeholders
  • Contribute to modernization initiatives for legacy systems
  • Participate in agile development processes and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure quality, stability, and reliability of mainframe solutions

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in COBOL development within mainframe environments (IBM z/OS)
  • Strong hands-on experience with CICS and JCL
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to quickly understand complex systems and business processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in agile teams
