Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Automation / System Design Engineer (Systemkonstruktör) to an engineering team.
What You Will Work On
- Work with system design and system construction, including both new development and modifications to existing systems
- Perform troubleshooting, plant development, documentation, training, and commissioning of machinery in the facility
- Participate in both project‑based assignments and work‑order driven tasks
- Collaborate closely with production departments, including maintenance technicians, operations technicians, external suppliers, and internal teams
- Complete internal training and learn client´s in‑house control system Proview to independently execute system assignments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of system functionality, reliability, and operational performance
- Ensure that system solutions meet safety, quality, and operational requirements
- Support procurement and supplier interactions through requirements specification and technical evaluations
- Plan, execute, and follow up work in a structured and methodical way
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of documented experience as a Design Engineer / Automation Engineer
- Strong background in industrial automation within manufacturing environments
- Solid knowledge of PLC systems
- Experience working in project environments, with the ability to independently drive tasks and assignments
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple professional groups
- Proven experience in requirements specification and supplier communication
- Ability to plan, structure, and follow up work with high quality
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Relevant technical education in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or similar
