We are currently looking for a Production Technician – Assembly
What You Will Work On
- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly area
- Contribute to strategic and operational production development activities
- Prevent, monitor, and follow up on safety incidents and compliance requirements
- Ensure a safe and sustainable working environment
- Improve efficiency and production performance through OEE-focused initiatives
- Implement and monitor actions to improve equipment availability, quality, and productivity
- Support process quality assurance and operational stability
- Reduce planned and unplanned production downtime
- Analyze production costs and identify optimization and savings opportunities
- Develop and maintain production standards and work instructions
- Drive initiatives to reduce waste and improve resource utilization
- Collaborate across production, engineering, and support functions to strengthen operational performance
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education, preferably an Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
- Training and/or practical experience with Lean methodologies and tools such as:
- 5S
- VSM (Value Stream Mapping)
- Kaizen
- SMED
- Poka Yoke
- Strong understanding of OEE systems and production performance measurement
- Experience working in project-based production improvement initiatives
- Minimum 5 years of experience within production environments
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or leadership-oriented role
- Basic understanding of automation and its impact on efficient production
- Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to make informed decisions in dynamic production environments
- Experience leading improvement initiatives and driving sustainable operational change
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple functions
- Good systems understanding and ability to see connections across machines, processes, and production flows
- Understanding of how production processes influence product function, design, and sustainability
- Curiosity, development mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement
- Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
