Assignment Description
We are currently looking for an experienced SQL Developer to support a large-scale data migration and transformation initiative in a complex enterprise environment.
What You Will Work On
- Develop and maintain SQL-based migration and transformation solutions
- Execute and support large-scale migration of business-critical datasets
- Design repeatable and controlled data processing workflows
- Develop SQL logic for transformation, validation, and optimization
- Build and maintain migration pipelines and execution processes
- Construct and generate XML structures from relational data
- Ensure consistency and integrity across source and target platforms
- Support conversion and formatting of data between database environments
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders during migration activities
- Improve performance and scalability of migration processes
- Support quality assurance and reconciliation activities
- Contribute to migration planning and execution governance
What You Bring
- Strong experience as a SQL Server Developer
- Experience executing data migration initiatives and bulk movement of large datasets
- Good understanding of building and generating XML from SQL-based data
- Experience creating repeatable data processing pipelines
- Ability to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems during migration
- Experience with SSIS and/or SSMA
- Experience with job scheduling and queue management in SQL Server environments
- Understanding of DB2 data formatting and code page conversion
- Experience working across complex system landscapes and integrations
- Professional proficiency in Swedish and English
- Experience within banking, financial services, or insurance environments (mandatory)
