Assignment Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Define requirements and design advanced network and embedded platforms
- Perform bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware-near systems
- Work with platforms based on Ethernet chipsets and networking modules
- Lead and support troubleshooting across hardware and software domains
- Collaborate closely with electronics and embedded Linux development teams
- Investigate and resolve complex cross-domain system issues
- Analyze system behavior and ensure reliability and performance
- Document architecture decisions, measurements, and troubleshooting findings
- Validate functionality and stability across integrated environments
- Support continuous improvements in platform quality and technical robustness
- Contribute to system integration and product lifecycle activities
What You Bring
- Academic background in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience
- Deep understanding of low-level networking technologies including Ethernet and hardware-near communication
- Experience with bring-up and troubleshooting of low-level interfaces such as PHY, MDIO, U-Boot, and Linux-based environments
- Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar diagnostic tools
- Experience with or strong understanding of SFP/SFP+ and optical transceiver technologies
- Ability and interest in solving complex problems across hardware and software boundaries
- Experience working closely with electronics and embedded software teams
- Strong analytical and structured troubleshooting capabilities
- Professional proficiency in Swedish and English
