Assignment Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Vehicle Anti-Corrosion Expert
What You Will Work On
- Lead anti-corrosion development activities for European vehicle projects
- Define, decompose, and achieve vehicle corrosion resistance targets
- Select and recommend appropriate corrosion protection measures for body-in-white and chassis components
- Establish corrosion performance requirements and validation strategies
- Define salt spray testing criteria and corrosion durability indicators
- Verify vehicle corrosion resistance through testing and validation activities
- Support vehicle testing programs and resolve corrosion-related issues
- Analyze environmental conditions, usage scenarios, and regional market requirements
- Monitor and evaluate European regulations related to corrosion protection and vehicle durability
- Perform competitor benchmarking and comparative corrosion performance assessments
- Analyze field performance and market feedback from existing vehicle fleets
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, logistics, testing, and quality teams
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and management presentations
- Support continuous improvement of corrosion prevention strategies and technologies
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in vehicle anti-corrosion engineering within the automotive industry
- Proven experience participating in at least two complete global vehicle development projects
- Strong expertise in vehicle corrosion protection technologies and methodologies
- Experience with body-in-white corrosion protection and chassis component durability
- Knowledge of corrosion testing methods, including salt spray testing and durability validation
- Understanding of material selection, coatings, surface treatments, and corrosion prevention systems
- Experience supporting vehicle development, testing, validation, and production activities
- Knowledge of automotive regulations, environmental requirements, and market conditions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to evaluate vehicle performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strong technical reporting and presentation skills at senior management level
- Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional environments
