Assignment Description
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Design and develop advanced mechanical components and systems
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and engineering documentation using CATIA
- Support product development activities throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system integration and performance
- Participate in design reviews and technical evaluations
- Solve complex design and engineering challenges in demanding environments
- Support material selection and engineering decision-making processes
- Apply design-for-manufacturing principles to optimize production readiness
- Develop and maintain technical drawings and design documentation
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and project objectives
- Contribute to continuous improvement of products, processes, and engineering methods
- Support testing, validation, and product verification activities when required
What You Bring
- Proven experience in mechanical design and product development
- Strong proficiency in CATIA, preferably CATIA V6
- Experience working within aerospace or other high-technology industries
- Ability to develop complex mechanical designs and technical solutions
- Strong understanding of engineering documentation and product development processes
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Knowledge of design-for-manufacturing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and proactively in project environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
- Swedish citizenship is required for this assignment
