Assignment Description
We are seeking an experienced Business & Process Architect specializing in Software Update Management Systems (SUMS)
What You Will Work On
- Define, develop, and maintain Software Update Management System (SUMS) processes
- Design and govern process frameworks supporting software updates throughout the vehicle lifecycle
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical, auditable, and traceable business processes
- Establish governance structures, responsibilities, and process ownership models
- Support compliance with automotive software update regulations and standards
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, certification, and governance teams
- Drive continuous improvement of software update management processes
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, engineering practices, and regulatory obligations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Support audits, assessments, reviews, and compliance activities
- Define process documentation, controls, and governance mechanisms
- Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to software lifecycle management and release governance initiatives
- Support organizational readiness for regulatory and certification requirements
What You Bring
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience in process architecture, process development, or management systems
- Background in automotive software development, embedded systems, or systems engineering
- Understanding of regulated product development environments
- Experience translating regulations and standards into operational processes
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- Experience working across engineering, compliance, governance, and business functions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to independently lead initiatives from analysis through implementation
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
