Assignment Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer
What You Will Work On
- Support, maintain, and optimize automation systems in production environments
- Ensure stable operation of PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms
- Drive standardization initiatives across automation processes and systems
- Support system lifecycle management activities
- Perform system upgrades, updates, and modernization initiatives
- Execute validation and documentation activities
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analyses
- Identify and implement process and system improvements
- Contribute to digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives
- Support data-driven operational improvements
- Coordinate activities with production, maintenance, and engineering teams
- Collaborate with external vendors and automation suppliers
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement and operational excellence programs
What You Bring
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of experience working with industrial automation systems
- Hands-on experience with:
- PLC systems
- SCADA systems
- DCS environments
- Experience from complex manufacturing or production environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience supporting operational production systems
- Understanding of automation system lifecycle management
- Experience with validation, testing, and technical documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
