Assignment Description
We are looking for a Data & ML Engineer for a short-term assignment
What You Will Work On
- Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines
- Develop Spark-based solutions for web content collection and processing
- Extract structured business and location attributes from unstructured data
- Fine-tune lightweight machine learning models for attribute extraction tasks
- Build and maintain training datasets and evaluation frameworks
- Evaluate model performance at both component and end-to-end system levels
- Expand AI-powered research agents into new geographic markets
- Adapt extraction logic and evaluate performance across different locales and languages
- Develop evidence collection and reasoning capabilities for AI systems
- Build Scala and Spark-based ingestion pipelines for third-party data sources
- Discover, assess, and integrate new external data providers
- Manage orchestration, optimization, and monitoring of multi-source data pipelines
- Deliver validated signals and datasets to downstream services and platforms
- Ensure high standards for data quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
What You Bring
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience with Polars and/or Pandas
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with NLP and machine learning model development
- Experience fine-tuning lightweight machine learning models
- Strong Scala and Apache Spark experience
- Experience processing and managing large-scale datasets
- Familiarity with agent frameworks, preferably LangGraph
- Experience evaluating machine learning systems and data quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work across multiple data domains and geographic markets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
