Assignment Description
We are looking for a Development Engineer to join a Scrum team focused on the development and testing of advanced filling equipment.
What You Will Work On
- Plan, prepare, rebuild, and commission test equipment and test rigs.
- Drive hands-on development, testing, and verification of filling technologies and machinery.
- Execute physical tests and document results, observations, and technical recommendations.
- Support upgrades and strategic investments in development and test environments.
- Define test methods, test setups, evaluation criteria, and verification activities.
- Troubleshoot machinery, test equipment, and mechanical systems during development.
- Collaborate with development teams to transform concepts into practical engineering solutions.
- Evaluate mechanical designs for functionality, reliability, maintainability, and usability.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve mechanical designs and engineering solutions.
- Contribute to verification and validation plans and ensure timely execution of development activities.
- Support machine installations, rebuilds, commissioning, and operational improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
What You Bring
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong hands-on engineering experience with mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Experience in machinery development, mechanical testing, or commissioning.
- Experience planning and executing physical tests and engineering evaluations.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and mechanical designs.
- Experience documenting test results and technical conclusions.
- Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
- Experience with machine rebuilds, installations, and commissioning is an advantage.
- Experience with mechanical design reviews and providing technical feedback is an advantage.
- Knowledge of product verification and validation activities.
- Experience from food processing, filling equipment, packaging machinery, or similar industries is an advantage.
- Knowledge of hygienic design principles is an advantage.
- Experience working hands-on with automation systems is an advantage.
- Independent, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
