Assignment Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Java Developer
What You Will Work On
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java
- Build robust, well-tested, and reliable backend applications
- Develop cloud-native backend solutions for large-scale digital platforms
- Design scalable system architectures with high availability and low latency
- Build and maintain backend APIs and data services
- Collaborate with backend developers, mobile developers, and product owners
- Analyze complex technical challenges and deliver pragmatic solutions
- Improve system performance, scalability, and operational reliability
- Implement automated testing and quality assurance practices
- Define and support SLI, SLO, and operational excellence initiatives
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions
- Drive continuous improvements in code quality, engineering practices, and development processes
- Participate in knowledge sharing and technical collaboration across teams
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in backend development using Java
- Strong experience building scalable backend services in modern cloud environments
- Excellent understanding of system design principles
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Proven experience developing robust, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver practical solutions
- Experience designing high-availability, low-latency, and high-performance systems
- Strong understanding of software quality, testing, and reliability engineering
- Experience working in cross-functional Agile development teams
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with Android or iOS development is an advantage
- Experience with data engineering is a plus
- Experience with load testing and performance optimization is beneficial
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an advantage
- Experience with BigQuery and Bigtable is a plus
- Experience with gRPC is beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
