Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Developer (Python & CMake) to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Act as a key developer and driver within the Tooling Team, focusing on creating and enhancing tools essential for the development of software running on the Core Computer.
- Design, develop, test, and integrate software using Python and CMAKE, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and deadlines.
- Work with software that operates on both emulators and real hardware, contributing to the development of next-generation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in car feature development, software architecture design, software build tools, CI pipelines, and system analysis.
- Contribute to the team’s agile development environment, exercising independence, ownership, and trust to deliver high-quality results.
- Engage with stakeholders, proactively address challenges, and navigate through complex and undefined problems.
What you bring:
- At least 7 years of experience developing software/tools in a Linux environment.
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Proficiency in using GIT/Gerrit for version control and code collaboration.
- A degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Strong background in agile software development methodologies.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous learning.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Experience with CMAKE and Bazel for build automation.
- Proficiency in C++.
- Familiarity with ISO26262 and ASIL-compliant development.
- Background in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of tools like Zuul, Jenkins, ConfigHub, and Artifactory.
