Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Project Quality Engineer – Oil & Gas and Complex Projects to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Manage inspection activities for Energy and supplier sites, ensuring compliance with project quality standards.
- Plan, perform, and follow up on inspections, actively addressing any open issues to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team, providing quality management support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project meetings to align quality control efforts with broader project goals.
- Potentially serve as Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM), overseeing supplier quality management for specific projects.
- Coordinate with classification societies to ensure adherence to industry standards and quality expectations.
- Travel as required within Sweden and Europe, with approximately 30-40% travel time expected per year.
What you bring:
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or extensive experience in inspection-related roles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards, including PED, ASME, and structural design.
- High level of organization and structure, essential for project quality management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and administrative skills to effectively manage inspection documentation and reporting.
Additional Skills Preferred:
- Proficiency in any additional languages is an asset.
- Relevant certifications related to PED, ASME, or AWS.
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering or electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with SAP and PLM2020 systems is an advantage.
