Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior PCB Designer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design and optimize PCBs using Xpedition and PADS tools.
- Perform modeling and simulation to validate and ensure the technical feasibility of design solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, mechanics, quality control, and production, to deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in the development, testing, and refinement of prototypes.
- Support the development of manufacturing processes and electronics assembly techniques.
- Contribute to projects involving custom ASICs and advanced PCB designs.
- Work across various product lines, including door stations, surveillance cameras, speakers, and thermal cameras, using diverse materials and technologies.
What you bring:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB design.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Siemens Xpedition and PADS.
- Solid understanding of electronics assembly and production processes.
- Hands-on experience in working with electronic products in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of electronics CAD library management.
- Excellent communication skills and a curious, collaborative mindset.
- Fluency in English, with Swedish skills being a plus.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in certification processes, including EMC and ESD testing.
- Knowledge of design optimization for production and familiarity with diverse materials like plastics, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Background in ASIC development or high-speed interface design.
- Creativity and a solution-oriented approach to technical challenges in a dynamic environment.
