Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and validate a solution architecture tailored to organizational data and analysis needs.
- Collaborate with domain architects, technical teams, and expert users to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Consolidate data from multiple departments into a unified platform for analysis and decision support.
- Design and implement ELT processes, data integration workflows, and data modeling.
- Utilize Microsoft-oriented tools such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, and Power BI to realize lakehouse architecture.
- Support the development of interactive dashboards and reports for data visualization and analysis.
- Ensure the solution adheres to best practices in data quality, security, and governance.
- Facilitate agile project execution while maintaining focus on scalability and efficiency.
What you bring:
- Experience:
- 8+ years in IT and data management, with expertise in complex data platform projects.
- 5+ years in database administration, programming, and system development.
- 5+ years in implementing data architecture and resolving complex issues.
- 3+ years in data modeling, database design, ELT processes, and big data technologies like Apache Spark.
- Recent experience with Microsoft Fabric and lakehouse architecture.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Microsoft-oriented tools (Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Databricks, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of analytics platform patterns (e.g., Medallion architecture, Data Mesh).
- Expertise in data storage, quality, and security.
- Soft Skills:
- Leadership experience in data projects with a focus on change and project management.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions.
- Understanding of organizational data strategies and business goals.
- Fluency in Swedish and English for effective collaboration.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
