Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop Layer 2 embedded software components for advanced communication products.
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled real-time software developers to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Work on Ethernet-based packet processing, bandwidth management, and advanced communication protocols.
- Utilize tools and technologies such as GCC, Bitbake, CMake, and Ninja for software compilation and configuration.
- Perform code reviews using Gerrit, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Handle networking development tasks and scripting in Linux environments.
- Operate Ethernet traffic generation equipment like Ixia.
What you bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C programming, including POSIX process handling and socket usage.
- Expertise in manipulating configuration files for compilation and using Linux shell commands/scripting (Bash/csh).
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel/Driver basics and software version control systems (GIT).
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as QoS, IPv4/IPv6 termination, traffic shaping, scheduling algorithms, and link aggregation.
- Basic Python programming skills.
- Understanding of macSec, IPSec, and packet processing functionality.
Additional valuable skills:
- Experience with DPDK for enhanced packet processing speeds.
- Knowledge of CPRI and eCPRI protocols.
- Familiarity with remote interfacing APIs such as gRPC Protobuf or REST.
