Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior System and Database Admin to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Administer and maintain databases for BI, CRM, and ERP systems, ensuring efficient design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Implement data security measures, perform regular backups, and plan for disaster recovery.
• Design scalable database architectures to support business growth and increasing data volumes.
• Install, configure, and maintain BI, CRM, and ERP systems while monitoring and optimizing system performance.
• Ensure system security, compliance with regulations, and manage user accounts and permissions.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into BI, CRM, and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize database designs and implement best practices for database coding and stored procedures.
• Identify and resolve performance issues in BI, CRM, and ERP systems, ensuring high availability and efficient query performance.
• Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and migrations.
• Optimize database licensing, hardware resources, and operational costs through automation and best practices.
• Align database and system architectures with business objectives and provide technical expertise for decision-making.
• Plan for future technology upgrades and adoption to ensure scalability and efficiency.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in system and database administration, with a focus on BI, CRM, and ERP systems.
• Strong expertise in database management systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with data warehousing, integration tools, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with BI, CRM, and ERP platforms (e.g., Qlik Sense, Salesforce, Jeeves).
• Proficiency in SQL query writing, database design, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred skills:

• Certifications in database administration or related IT fields.
• Experience with scripting languages such as VBA, Python, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
