Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Lead Engineer – Grid Automation to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on
- Act as a technical lead and design authority for engineering deliverables across all applicable disciplines
- Coordinate all technical activities throughout the project lifecycle, including testing and commissioning
- Work closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, utilizing feedback to drive innovation and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with engineers across various disciplines, sharing knowledge and best practices within the HUB Europe Region
- Prepare base designs for substation automation systems, control, and protection, ensuring accuracy in detailed design
- Take ownership of detailed design engineering, testing, or commissioning as needed for project success
- Support the Project Manager in cost estimation, scope changes, and risk assessments
- Provide technical expertise and financial details for sales proposals
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, both remotely and on-site at domestic and international locations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, fostering a culture of safety and integrity
What you bring
- 10+ years of experience leading and working in substation automation projects
- Strong knowledge of protection & control (P&C) and/or SCADA system design
- Experience with MicroSCADA, RTU, communication protocols, and cybersecurity
- Familiarity with L2-L3 network concepts
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and coordinate cross-functional engineering activities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to testing and commissioning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in Swedish and English (mandatory)
