Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer/Technician to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Participate in system testing as part of the H09 or target test & commissioning team at ESS.
Perform testing, verification, validation, inspection, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment on-site.
Develop protocols and reports associated with testing and calibration activities.
Troubleshoot complex systems and ensure operational functionality.
Collaborate closely with the Work Package and Project Manager to adhere to project schedules.
Support the preparation and execution of ESS “Beam on Target” system testing.
Contribute to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the testing process.
Be available for overtime during project peaks when required.

What you bring:

Proven expertise in testing, verification, validation, inspection, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within the defined technical area.
Experience in developing protocols and reports.
Strong troubleshooting skills on complex systems.
Proactive, pragmatic, and flexible approach with a project success mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environment.
Commitment to meeting project deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
