Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Certification & Compliance Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Plan and manage powertrain certification and compliance activities, ensuring products meet regulatory requirements for power, emissions, CO₂, OBD, EMC, and electrical safety.
- Represent Certification & Compliance (C&C) in engine development projects, ensuring compliance from development to certification and throughout the product lifecycle.
- Oversee certification processes, including budgeting, time planning, type approval authority communication, preparation, execution, documentation, and application submission.
- Act as a certification expert within projects, clarifying regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Ensure continuous regulatory compliance and mitigate non-compliance risks to support market access and environmental standards.
- Manage and handle complex documentation, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment with industry standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Support and drive compliance strategies, improving processes for long-term product adherence to regulations.
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry within certification, emission legislation, powertrain development, or quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent automotive industry experience.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks across teams.
- Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to negotiate and convey technical information effectively.
- High level of personal integrity, courage, and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in English (Swedish is a plus).
